Does anyone know of any Pulley Installers in Southern Cal. I'm getting the Helix pulley for Christmas and after reading multiple threads I'm nervous to install it myself. Is it better to have it professionaly installed, or should I just go for it? Anyways, If anyone has any thoughts or responses on the install or installers for that matter I would appreciate it.

The main thing is to get a pulley puller. After that, just follow the "how to". It's a piece of cake if you have the right tools and a little mechanical know how.

bproctor: Dunno where you are but Johnny in San Pedro does a great job plus he's a Cooper S owner and has modded the heck out of his own car. He did my pulley and he's doing some more stuff on my car on Tuesday. If that location works for you get hold of me and I'll shoot you his address and phone number. I'd do it for you now, but don't have it with me. "Johnny's Auto Works" if you wanna dig it up yourself.

sorry i can't give you a exact price. i had the bmp intake installed and the tower brace at the same time since they had everything apart. i will say this that i had wanted randy to do it at one of the pulley parties because of his experience and i also thought i would meet some other mini owners at the time. johnny's price was right in there with all other installers and since he had done many before i went with him. i was happy with everything he did and would go back for anything else i needed installed. sorry i can't be more specific. prices were very good as i remember. gave me a discount when he was doing all these things at one time instead of seperately. the car is great with these mods.
