Help!! Alta method boost guage install

http://www.altaperformance.com/share...ampinr205b.pdf

In the above instructions it says to locate a hose underneath the intake manifold to tap into. I see two....I see one actually going INTO the manifold, and one going into another hose with a tap. Which one is it really?? The pictures and description on the ALTA guide suck.

Look at these picture (one far shot for reference, and two close ups). Which one is it!?!?!?! 1 or 2 ??:

Ok so I followed the line that goes into the manifold. It ends up in the Fuel Pressure Regulator, and if I recall correctly, this is another area to tap into for full boost. So I decided to just tap it there. Does this look right??? (Clear tube to the FPR, and black tube to the guage, and bottom tube to Intake manifold (was into the FPR).

Yes, that is where I connected my boost gauge. Be careful not to have any sharp bends in the tube as they might kink when the tube gets hot. I placed the T fitting the other way on mine with the straight part between the pressure regulator and it’s original connection.

Thank you!. Now I just need to find a place to route the hoses through.

I wouldn't use that clear hose. It's going to get hot and not hold steady pressure. To be honest, it will probably melt. Use either silicone or a vacuum line.

That clear hose came with the pro sport guage. Do you think it is still ok? I mean the boost guage maker included it...lol. I guess I will find something else.
