According to this article, the maximum hp the stock injectors could handle is 215hp? What happens when you start off with 210hp modified then add the venom?

Thanks Ivan

greetings.......

The system that was tested was on the "Mule" giving us tremendous flexibility as the system was controlable from
a computer or the included Palm Pilot. As it happen the MCS ECU started to figure out that there was a foreign "object"
in the system and after 6 days of bliss the ECU said enough of this and no matter what we did to the system it was a -
no go......

Enter the VCN-1000mc, easy to install (kinda) and works like Magic, no hickups, weird surges or other annomalies.
The 215hp limit is not correct as I have been pushing about 230hp with the purple nitrous jet without seeing
a lean condition. If you want to be on the safe side use our new 400cc injectors, compared to the 340cc stock units
these will give you an added safety buffer for the purple/black nitrous jets.

For other questions feel free to call me....

I believe you get larger injectors free from M7 when you get the Venom kit.

More info here

Do not listen to Ryan ....

As we did get Injectors and jet's all mixed up. An assortment of Nitrous jet's will come with the kit at no cost.

Fuel injectors will retail at $ 85 per injector. This is the OE injector housing that we rebuild to meet M7 requirements.
Giving you perfect idle and low speed tractability. A core charge will also be added but refunded when we receive the
original injectors.

Peter,

Talked to you earlier today. How will it apply to my 210hp modded Mini then? Will I need bigger fuel injectors?

My choice would be to get the injectors, it gives you a nice buffer preventing a lean situation at full throttle.
13 SecMini has already pushed 275hp with no problems, not even a squeek from the stock clutch and mind you
thats dragracing the tuffest test for any clutch so I think your safe pushing let's say 250hp ...........

Peter just installed one on my car on Thursday. I have had a busy weekend and haven't had a chance to really try it out. I will post pictures and my thoughts on this as soon as a get a chance to play with it. Also any of you who have it please give me advice on how to use it(I won the one at LB poker rally)and I don't know exactlly how to use it. So any advice is appreciated (I know Peter is a phone call away and will give advice but since I'm writing I'll get some novice opinions

Well of course it is....

Little more care has to be given in choice of Nitrous jet, but a 30-50hp shot would be just dandy.
Also the install will be easier as there's no intercooler to cover up the fuel injectors.

Grendel,
Based on mypersonal experience: JUST FLOOR IT!!
Seriously, I have been using it sparingly but judiciously. It's most exciting
when someone in a big truck with mega pipes or a mustang gt tries to take you at a green light.
The rush in the high end of third gear to fourth near redline is amazing on the highway. Just ask the V6 VW gti that tried and saw my tail lights as a salute.
Just be careful and hold on. I've found a considerable amount of torque steer in the lower gears. Makes the MINI a bit of a handful,..... but I like that feeling.
I wouldn't recommend using it from a dead stop unless you want to burn the tires off.

Does this enable coopers to produce the same or near same results if i had a M7 Venom Nitrous.
Where can i get a miltech system from?
How hard is it to fit the nitrous?
Cheers

Who supplies the new fuel injectors? We're talking about "fuel" injectors right? Not venom injector. How much more will this add to the package price?

Maximus....

I would say you can safely take the hp to 160hp or so.....bottom line who knows (try a 100hp shot )

We have the Fuel injectors in stock Price: $85 each plus core charge that will be credited back when we receive the injectors.

Is there a difference in the fuel mapping in MCS vs. MC Venoms? On one end we got lots of boost being forced in there so plenty air. Any differences in the two kits?

Peter - Random question, not sure if you know the answer. Why is it that Civics can run 50-75shots with only 240injectors and the MC needs upgraded ones for the M7 50 shot. Dont we have 3xx something injectors?
thanks
Brian

I think the difference is that the fuel consuption is much higher in the MCS mostly because the of Super Charger.
The fuel mapping in the M7 nitrous system is all dependent on O2 sensor readings, if the O2 sensor sees a lean
situation it will over ride the ECU changing the pulse width on the fuel injectors, and with that giving extra fuel
in to the cylinder.

PS. I will post a diagram of the wiring harness ASAP for you to see

What 0-60 times can you get with the 50 or 75 shot pushing 250hp? Just curious to know how it would compare to other cars on the street.

>>CCM, your very informative post on MINI2 has been LOCKED! Simply because Paul Mullett does not want the names M7, or Peter Horvath shown anywhere on his site!<<

Funny, it doesn't say that?
Here's Paul's remark:

"I'm afraid I will have to close this thread as the company involved have a record of abusing MINI2 and finding various ways to work their way around the commercial posting rules.

As it stands I do not want MINI2 to be seen in ANY way to endorse or support or even to be associated with M 7.

Please note this is no reflection on the quality or otherwise of their products, just a reflection on their abuse of MINI2. This has been an ongoing saga for several months, and has not been a decision taken lightly."
