Drivetrain Adjusting Exhaust--
Adjusting Exhaust--
So, I know of many VW's/Subies that have electronic valves/flaps/etc that are adjustable from inside the car to control the tone/flow of their exhaust.
I saw in a remus exhaust post, that they have a screw by the tips that makes the exhaust tone adjustable-

Looking at the picture in the first post, it seems that its simply a piece of metal that "blocks" the flow in the exhaust piping (to put it in lamens terms). And when the screw it turned, the flow is obstructed, creating less power and thus a lower exhaust note. Seeing that on long road trips with my GF she hates the drone, as do I when cruising on the highway. So something like this would be a useful feature to add.
Anyone know of a simple solution to add this? Or how the subie/vw ones actually work? I know with the VW flapper mod, its a flap in the intake tract or something along there before the exhaust/dp.
A switch would be cool, but I could live with a manual adjustment too.

My friend had a cone-like plug on his subaru that he just screwed onto the exhaust tip when he was going on long drives and didn't want the drone. Worked pretty well for sound.. but there was an obvious difference in power.
They do work though.
