We spent a decent chunk of the day / night removing the stock downpipe, replacing it with the catless to find out it doesn't seem to fit at the vband. It gets to a certain point on the new downpipe and just stops. Then tried to replace the stock cat (top stud was stuck) so it's being a total jerk.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We used some lube to see if it'd help which failed. It did however leave a ring where it seems to be getting stuck as seen in the attached photos.

 

All good after another hour of work today, all it needs is a nice quarter inch trim off the invidia exhaust vband.

 

Sound clips? And I take it you have a CEL now?

 

I'll throw some on youtube here within the next few days. As for the CEL I use scangauge to clear them no issues. I wont know how often it'll come on till I drive for a week or so.

 

I hope you do drive by sound clips at wide open throttle. Catless can sound like the end of the world in the cabin with a crappy digi-cam movie.

 

They will probably come on every couple of days or sooner.
