POWAAAA

I am currently looking to purchase a 2003 mini cooper S. i dot alot of custom fabrication and race car work. but i am exausted of searching and having a hard time findin limits and records on stock block power, and what the transmissions can take as far as abuse. Im being very vague. but am interested to see what kind of ECU options i have for the drive by wire, and if transmissions/ axles hate power. and what kind of limitations stock blocks can handle. any info would be great. and yes i did read the "new guy" section. just didnt see any info pertaining.

I would suggest you give a call to Way Motor Works, RMW, Texas Speedworks, or any of the other well respected MINI shops that have supported or built race cars.

There are a lot of modified MINIs, I just don't think there are a lot of them that have not been seen or worked on by the above mentioned shops. Why not go to the pro's for the info instead of trying to sift through these forums?

just because i know alot of shop owners and i know they absolutely hate when people call just for free information. takes time away from their business and getting any work needed to be done in house a whileworking on real customers vehicles. just common courtesy, before i finally give in and call. Thanks though

from what I know you cannot max out the block before destroying the supercharger. Increase overdriving supercharger pulleys to far you will turn your supercharger into a BBQ because of its pretty low efficiency. I have seen these transmission gear sets take 500whp in Focus SVT applications. Never heard of driveshafts snapping either. ECU wise you will most likely have to deal with a tuner to accomplish that.
