Post Mileage and Mods

I've seen a lot of threads where someone eventually posts concerns about longevity of their car with certain mods. I think there should be (and I searched) a place for this info for reference. Most of the posts with mileage responses are outdated anyway.... like from when R53s were still under warranty .

anyway... maybe a format is in order

current mileage
mods
mileage mods were performed

IDK, but the more info and accuracy the better this will be for reference...

Thanks!

First thought you meant gas mileage..anyways

All mods done around 64k
15% pulley w new belt
Royal purple oil
Cold plugs, msd wires and coil
Alta v2

Put a few thousand miles on the car since mods including a 2k mile road trip from Ohio to the east coast and back. Don't have long term results but can say the car overall runs smoother with mods and oil maintenance done

Hopefully a few others will respond with longer history of mods..

On the mpg subject I am getting better than before even though I feel like I drive the car a bit harder because it begs for it. 27city/hwy combo and nearly 35mpg average on road trip!

93k now
royal purple oil (from 80K-present, prior was castrol syntec 10w30)\
alta OCC &CAI 62k miles
alta v2 15% pulley 71k miles
ATI superdamper crank pulley 80k miles
clutchmasters stage II clutch and alum flywheel 83k miles
obx headers with pace setter high flow metalic core cat 78k miles
detroit tuned bpv 69k miles
vacuum gain system 87k miles
BBS cv 17x7.5 et 35 wheels 82k miles
alta 19mm rear sway bar 82 k miles
colder plugs 85k miles

generally get around 26-28. but it could be a LOT better as I'm running super rich. ( my donut gasket leaks just before the cat allowing oxygen in as it creates a small vacuum and pulls air in.. the post cat O2 sensor reads it as the car running lean and has thus thrown several lean codes and is causing the car to run super rich.... kinda gay.. but i need to find a shop i trust to do the exhaust right this time, as last time i took it in i asked them to weld in a braided flex pipe and take out the donut and they didn't....)

also curious, this is going well so far. This, I think, is very useful info for folks looking at mods, maybe it will end the "will this mod destroy my mini?" posts...

keep it going!

i'd add my data but it's useless as i just not my R53 a couple weeks ago and it only got it's DDMworks intake last week...
