Drivetrain Bragging Rights- What cars have you beat or lost to?
No one really finds my car intimidating to go to a track and race at the drag strip, but one guy has attempted.
Only car I've raced in a straight line was a Del Sol with a B16 turbo swap. 2nd gear roll from 25-90 I walked him by about 2-3 lengths on the track. I was pleasantly surprised because I saw him race an STi and he killed it.

What kind of mods do you have ? what do you run in the 1/4 , S550 run's the 1/4 in 13@103MPH
I can see a modded S running that...with a driver that knows what they're doing
Although I must say, anything with the 550 motor is a beast....
Please Post Data on Track / Location ect.......
All things being equal............unless you: list the name of the track, racing class, and conditions. Including but not limited to; weather, altitude, air temp and track's surface, tires used....OP's purported objective of this thread becomes pointless and only a means to promote some baseless data in an attempt to skirt NAM rules.....

I would still like to hear the stories and viewpoints of drivers, regardless of if they recorded the temperature or brought a barometer. The thread has been interesting so far. True, one must take it it with a grain of salt. The same goes with every other thread on the internet though.
At Bandemere speedway, in Morrison Colorado, Altitude @ 6000ft, Temps @ 80-85, In my R53 M7 pulley, Streight exahust, Alta intake, Snow tires, and Striped weight of 2660lbs. I ran pretty consistent 15.00 Best was 14.8 worst was 15.2, Not bad for the altitude.

Ain't no way..... unless a) he was sleeping at the light or b) he smoked the tires on take off. (and even at that, he would pull on a 1/4 mile)
I'm sure I'm pushing more HP/TQ than your mini and there is NO WAY I can beat a C6 Corvette.

Yea, that is true, I would say its all about the driver at the track because lots of people who run at the track either sleep at the light or spin tires =P.
Yeah, I don't buy that post at all. I was on the track with a bunch of Corvettes and they absolutely blew by me. Granted, my R56 is still 100% stock but at the end of the day you can only get so much power from those.
