Drivetrain R56 Cam options?
Scrick have two options of camshafts for the R56 N14B16 engine, stage 1 and stage 2, the latter (stage 2) does require the valve to piston clearance checking, and may require extra material removed from the piston valve relief area's, from having 10.7mm of lift. I know of 1 R56 running the Schrick stage 1, also having been a passenger in this car, I can comment that there was a distinct difference in power delivery in the mid to high end RPM, over stock, I think he has a dyno sheet too, if he has I will see if I or he can post up the results, if memory serves me correctly I seem to recal a figure of 271bhp.
Justin,
I was e-mailed some info on heads and cams for the R56 by Dustin at autoxcooper.com a few months ago. I think it was from Thumper Performance. You can checkout this link:

All of that info is referring to cams for an R53. I would imagine that anyone skilled at porting heads for the R53 can do so for the R56. But that info is specifically referring to R53's.
