I have installed the M7 AGS-R intake kit on my 2008 MCS, all went great, all that's left is installing the filter and it's cover...

Now my question is about the filter, when you slide it on the intake tube, is it supposed to slide all the way to the tube's flange? The opening in the silicone part of the filter slides on nicely, for like half an inch, but after that the opening gets to a smaller diameter and I am not sure if I must force it to go further or not!?! It does not seem very solid just on the edge, but it doesnt seem like it wants to go deeper neither! Before breaking anything I wanted someone else's opinion!

I just posted my ALTA for sale to buy this thing, I hope you got a decent price on it. I have heard that our cars sound pretty mean with this intake

Gilboyto... Thanks for the pic but in it the filter is just sitting in the bottom of the housing and not really clamped in place...

But dont worry about it, I talked on the phone with Peter from M7 and we got it all figured out!! Gave me excellent service BTW!

And yes I got a decent price on it... Really happy with it, I think it's simply the best (and real) cold air intake system out there, combined with the Vortex 2 scoop you simply cant get more fresh RAM air than that
