R56 chiptuning

Hi guys,

I was googling on mini ecu tuning just now and banged into this site

http://www.tuningkit.de/tuningkit-ch...bo-2726-r.html

It sounds like a unichip to me, but a 26% power increase purely spurred by software??? I searched on most major mini forums for its feedback, but its brand is sooo easy to mix with other tuners ;-(

anyone heard/experienced of it?

Sounds scetchy to me. I don't think I would spend that kinda of money either. Even though its in Euro thats still like $750 roughly. Meh you can get a RMW tune for less then that.

Seems about as real as this option, but with less gains:

On a more serious note, the RMW option with the flash loader will actually work and isn't much more money for a proven option.

No, if you look at the installation instructions, it connects to the common rail on the engine. They even have a page that explains why their system is better then OBD tuning, and it has a picture of one of their engineers.
