GT28RS Project

I just wanted to start a new thread and update everyone on my ongoing project. We are still working on some small details and in process of tuning as well. Once we have completed everything. I will post up some video of the dyno and the specific specs. I also wanted to let everyone know, once I have completed this project, we are going to be sale this kit and installation if anyone is interested. We have put lots of time in this project to make it work and it looks like we will be getting very close to 300 WHP.
I will start taking names for now and probably by next two weeks I should have it finished.

No problem on the throttle. The only thing left is low boost before 4500 RPM, which we think we know the problem, but don't have the answer yet. It pulls very nice after 4500 RPM now without any problem.

I will start put the names of people that were involved in this project as they have helped a lot.

Yet another disco potato thread. Here's hoping this one ends with good #'s and regular updates. My turbo kit has been sitting in the box for over a year now waiting for some decent results.

This might be the car Jan spoke about at our last meeting(jan was very vague other than tuning was needed and a few bugs needed to be worked out)

Hello everyone,
James yes, you are correct, Jan has been working on the car regarding the Tune, I have two other projects going on at the same time, so I might be a little slow, but I have high hopes that I should have it done very soon.

We did start with the Unichip at first and at that time when we put the car on the dyno it went up to 285-285 whp with the piggy back. Now I am driving the car for past three weeks without the piggy back, and the only light that comes up is the O2 sensor.

I have great people working on this project, as a great amount of you guys know Jan as well. The entire project came out very nice, the exhaust system is to die for as well, what I think (my 2 cent on this).

I will not hang you guys out there; I will update you guys when I get some results. My only draw back is time and working on the other two projects as well.

I just hope I don't have to put any more money into the care at this time. I can see maybe fuel pressure regulator, injector's and soon clutch job.

Good Job, after i had purchased the GT28RS, i had found out that we can still do some work on our turbo's to get lot more out of it, but it was to late and i had purchased the new turbo and all the other stuff for it. We should not be too much different from each other. I would say max around 20-30 WHP at the most. But let's wait and see.
