Retrofit ALTA CAI foam filter with paper filter?

Hello All,

Has anyone retrofitted their ALTA CAI with a paper filter? If you have, what filter did you use? I'm in search of a direct replacement filter that I can use with the ALTA mounting hardware and tubing so I do not have to purchase a whole new CAI. I'm hoping I can just swap out the foam filter for a paper filter . Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I have a k&n on mine, fits fine. All i had to do was take the actual foam off and used the metal part as an adapter.

Is your filter bad? I am pretty sure I have a replacement available. PM me Gary!

Thanks! I was told that it is 2.75" at the end so I will find one (probably K&N) with that diameter of opening.
