Drivetrain Lilith's Update
Lilith's Update
Okay, just drove Lilith today for the first time in 4 months. Since then, I've changed the air filter, fixed the cracked line to the boost gauge, added Ultrik intercooler bellows, made sure the bypass valve was connected properly and checked for vacuum leaks. So driving today she was pretty smooth. Doesn't take off as good, but I'm attributing it to a glazed flywheel. When I was able to open her up, she would register a steady 15 psi on the gauge, but then as the mph's climbed she started showing the usual 17 psi and started acting as she is starving for fuel. Other than that that, she runs smooth at idle and response is good. After talking with Way from Way Motorworks, I attribute my small oil leak to a bad oil pan gasket and not a leaky rear main seal. The clutch is probably just glazed. Still can't figure out that high RPM thing.
Could it be old fuel since you car was sitting for 4 months. Try adding staybil, oct booster and some fuel injector cleaner to the fuel that has been sitting in the tank and run the tank to almost empty. Full it up again with good 93 oct.
Also check you plugs, Coil and plug wires.... are they stock? I have a stock coil and wires and Brisk plugs.
Aftermarket Plugs,Wires and Coils can cause wacky issues. Try switching back to stock (if you are not stock) and test to see if the problem continues.
I have removed my Ultrik intercooler bellows because ethey do not fit as well as the stock ones and I had a leak. I used to have a red set and they leaked on the high end. The stock one do not look cool but they are designed & work very well.
Just a few idea.

You have done a ton of mods for more air, what have you done to increase your fuel ? And it sounds like your are running some 7 lbs of more boost than stock. I would say the problem is a combination of stale fuel and running lean due to air/boost upgrades. Afterall, even the ECU has limits.
Someday I would drop some 380's in there.
