Two questions

I did the one ball mod last month in my garage. Very easy mod and came across no problems.

However, i live in new york with heavy snow therefor its very wet, and i noticed the left resonator,( the only one now) was steaming, i through snow on it and it was very very hot.

Is this common? Is this bad? Please let me know.

Also i have been searching for a while for a CAI and decided on the DDM, i hear talk about different types such as "street".
I just purchased this one, http://www.autoxcooper.com/ddm_supercooper.html will i need any additional pieces to make it fit? is this the one most people use with DDM?

Thanks-

I wouldn't worry about your one ball mod.

As for the DDM intake, you'll love it. The different versions such as street or race you see are in reference to the DDM intakes for the R56 since they make a couple different ones for it. But the only options for the DDM intake on the R53 is stainless steel or Black finish.

I went to i believe is your website (http://www.waymotorworks.com/ddm-int...per-s-r53.html) to purchase the intake, if i remember i had to sign up and register, but i could not successfully use paypal bank transfer method to purchase. ? i was a bit confused

Also, will the ALTA oil catch can fit with the DDM CAI?

If not is there any way around it to make it fit?

Sorry you couldn't check out, but we only take Visa or Mastercard for payment. I never liked paypal due to their fees and other issues I've had with them.

Yes the Alta catch can will work with the DDM intake, actually they don't interfere with each other at all. I've got a couple Alta catch cans in the show room I'm going to clear out, if you want one email me.

WAY
