Drivetrain 17% pulley
You need a different size belt, possibly cooler plugs depending on which you already have, but not tremendously necessary. Not sure what you mean by your injectors being upgraded, but only 05-06 JCWs came with upgraded 380 injectors. You don't need them, they will help.
This needs to be moved to the modifications section so more gearheads can see it. The fact is, there are several members in here who have numerous miles on their MINIs with a 17% pulley and no problems whatsoever ever. There are some who don't advise it. Me personally, I went with a 15% s/c pulley and 2% oversized crank pulley. It's about the same as 17% s/c pulley. I've had some problems but there's no evidence that it was caused by the pulleys. How many miles are on the car? It's already a JCW, so if you alter it, you might have to get it retuned. Now for my personal opinion. Knowing me, I'd do it. But that's because I have a second car to drive if something messes up. If this doesn't get moved to the modifications section, then do a search for 17% pulleys. I remember good discussions on it back in the day.
I have a 17% on mine and haven't had any problems. I considered the 15 but I wanted a little more power. All I had to do was get a smaller belt and colder plugs. A tune would be a good idea to get as much power as possible but not necessary.

There's no evidence that the 17% causes greater wear or more problems than the 15%. If you spend lots of time at the track, banging off the rev limiter, you might consider going with the 15%. If you are primarily a street driver, the 17% or 19% will give you more torque at lower RPMs.
Got my used Mini at 69000 miles, added a 17% pulley, now I'm at 83000 and have had no problems.
The only issues I've had I don't believe are even related to the pulley at all. I know many others with the 17, and they'll tell you the same thing. I would go ahead and do it. You'll really dig the extra power!

Since you already have a JCW car, going with the 17% pulley will give you a more noticeable improvement. Go for it you'll be fine.

After much debate I went with the 17%....on a Non-JCW car...but I am running the JCW 380's (which were only standard on 2005+ JCW 210 cars)......the extra fuel should be a good thing with the mildly ported head on a JCW, and the freer flowing exhaust!!
One tip....make sure you have a JCW pulley puller....they are available from a few vendors, and some shops MAY have one around (they are not very common though, just like JCW cars)...but check first!!
i'm so glad i found this website. i went ahead and bought the 17% pulley and put it on this past saturday. it took 7 hours due to the OEM pulley not wanting to cooperate with me or my pulley puller(s). but its done. i love it. it screams. the alta cold air with hose helps too.
