Drivetrain Richmond Virginia Pulley Party
I just got back from the south FL pulley party. Randy is THE MAN. He is a super cool guy and damn does he know his s*it!
I got the pulley, ecu, denso plugs and nology wires. OMFG. I have a sports car now
Hell I wanna go to another pulley party just to hang out with Randy some more. Great time, great people, and your car comes away thinking it's a ferrari! Cant lose.

I should know this from reading all the posts, but I have a few questions:
1) What is the cost for the pulley and the ECU upgrade? - is there a savings over Randy's costs listed on his site by doing it at the party?
2) Is there an option on the pulley size (i.e. 15, 17 19)? After the recent discussions, I can't decide which I want.
Also, you may want to post this under the Mid-Atlantic regional forum as well. I would bet you would get a few others to the party

Stinger: You'll have to clear this with Randy but, I believe he does offer a discount if both the pulley & ecu are done at the same time.
With regards to which pulley, I think Randy sells the ALTA which at this time is 15%. I think I saw some talk that ALTA may have a 17% soon. I'd guess you could buy what ever pulley you want and have Randy install it at the party.
As it stands now, because of all the testing Randy has done with the 15% pulley, thats the one I'll have installed at the Richmond party. Now, if Randy has a 17% and tells me its good to go, I may change my mind. Don't think I'll get the ecu re-mapped yet as I will most likely have less than 5,000 miles on her come mid-March. All the above subject to change depending on Randy's suggestions
BTW, has anyone heard from Randy lately? Sure hope he is still above ground.

Mike: There's a place called Townsend Racing Products outside of Richmond in Ashland. They have had a dyno for a long time. I assume they still do. Interviewed the owner for an article in an autocross newsletter years ago. Nice guy named Ricky Dennis. His phone number is 804-798-8168. You guys might be able to work a deal for, say, the day after the party and get a few pulls each at a reasonable price. Let me know if that turns out to be the case. I might be interested in pitching in.

minicoopermike: If your buying the Alta Intake from Randy, sonracer and I can help you with the install at the Richmond PP. Thats if its OK with Randy. Both sonracer & I did the Alta ourselves but, wouldn't want to step on Randy's toes.

Just a quick bump to let everyone know that Randy's pulley party schedule in Richmond, VA for Mar. 5th. 6th. & 7th. still has openings on the 5th. & 7th. I believe only total of 3 openings left.
