Read another thread where it states you can get the street R53 lower and just get the Race insert to change out at the track. True?
If true are the bushing just a push in and out?

Correct. There are 2 bushings (one on each side) that are pushed in.

hmm this could be a interesting thing as im coming up on a clutch change soon so this might be an option

Yikes!
Clutches can be a hassle.. well Transmissions can be. Atleast you'll be under the car already
