I'm running iridium plugs one step colder on mine now for about 2 years no issues.

I am looking to run the E3 diamond fire's next in my R53. You shouldn't have any problems....but remember, if you have a s/c pulley you want to go with a step colder on those plugs.

We use to use them, but found more reliability in the Platnium plugs. Plus they were a little cheaper, it was a bonus.

I had iridiums in my Mini, when I checked them after almost a year of use some were loose, I had them properly tightened, checked them the next day and they were loose again! I talked to Jan at RMW about this and he said he had seen this before and did not recommend them. He said he knew of a car where the iridium had shot out of its hole! I switched to Brisk plugs and haven't had any problems.

X2 - no misfires, look like they're supposed to (color), etc.
