I have friends in europe using the standard Genius with a mac that boots to windows xp. I would say its likely mac compatible, just not "mac os" compatible.
do you need to being the laptop to the flash tool & car or the flash tool to the computer?
-i have a mac laptop and a pc desktop
From what i understand, the map will be emailed to you from RMW. From there, the flash tool will be connected to your computer via USB. You will then save the map to the flash tool. Then, simply take the flash tool to your car and plug it in to your obd2 port.
Make sure you plug the flash tool into your car FIRST!! to save the car's stock ecu map, as well as the car's VIN number.
You may be the worlds best salesman, but that wasn't it in this case Actually, I hadn't visited NAM in a couple of weeks, so I'm REALLY glad I dropped by or I might have missed this opportunity (and spent the next few days kicking myself REALLY hard).
How many people do we need for the next price break?
If you know anyone else who might be interested, I'd tell them to get a move on, most of us are going to be putting the pressure on to close the list and get the units ordered !

Does all this sound accurate Jan??
My R53 flash tool is hooked to Laptop to initialize, then plugged into OBDII to download ecu, then hooked back to laptop to email. Then do it in reverse when I send back the file

I know this has been asked before, but a definite answer was never given. Jan, will you tell everyone the exact price and how much the tune discount will be before you go about ordering all 91(hopefully 101 for the price break) of these?

yes, there will be a complete break down of the pricing. Once I get the tool and it works I will post everything. I don't want any more disappointments especially after how long this has taken
