With all the talk about failing superchargers in the "Problems/Issues" forum, I decided to buy a spare. It came with what looks like a Helix clamp-on 15% pulley (no brand stamp). I'm new at this so can you pros confirm?

Diameter: 55-56mm or 2.15-2.20" ... is that a 15% pulley?

Mine (paint is probably done by owner or installer)...

Both chambers have oil (honey colored) and the gears look good.

 

Yup, I'd say you got it right Helix pulley painted black.

 

And the diameter of 55-56mm or 2.15-2.20" ... do you know if it's is a 15% pulley?

I've seen it measured in some posts but can't seem to track them down.

Already sent an email to Helix but haven't heard anything yet.

Found this: diameter of the stock s/c pulley is 65.5mm, so 15% reduction would be ~55.675mm and 17% would be ~54.365mm...
