Does a new BV require a tune?

currently working on a Dinan S2 for my mini and i wanted to throw on a DT BV but will this make my then Stage 5 tune from Dinan worthless?

Most people I know say that the Detroit tuned bv makes a big differance on '04 and before. From what I have read, the stock valve was reworked on the '05+. some folk love them...a few have taken them off though...depends on your driving style. It is a great product, but keep in mind you will be useing boost sooner, so your MPG will drop a little bit...maybe 1 mpg...enjoy!!
