Hi I have a 2006 JCW Mini S with OBX headers, Alta JCW replacemente filter and Alta inlet hose, GRS intercooler (the basic one), Alta V.2 Pulley 17% and belt and the car has been tuned. Right now i run about 195 whp. I would like to know what whp gain will i get if i get a schrick or ultrik camshaft installed and retuned. I believe the head of the JCW is better and 380cc injectors (any more information please let me know). What whp will i get after the tune and cam?

If im trying to reach the 220 whp range what do i have to do?

My car with similar mods, just from different compaines and with a 15% pulley, made 222 whp with an RMW/Newman cam and a retune. I dont know how those cams profile compare with the one in my car, but I'd say more than likely you could expect anywhere from from 215 to 220 whp. Also my car doesnt have the JCW head, but I dont believe it would make that much more of a difference.

 

I had the RMW street cam in my car and picked up about 11hp and 10tq in my GP. I still have the street cam if your interested. I have since put the RMW race cam in my car. The street cam has about 4k on it.

I'll throw this out, you can get the NS/Crower cam for cheaper with similar results. Also I have copied this post, so whoever is editing it, you are busted.
