When to change/clean intake filter?
How often should we clean or change an aftermarket filter?

I have an alta. As soon as my "red cone" filter turns blackish red, then its time.In Vegas thats twice a year!

Got an Amsoil filter for our JCW CAI and I clean it twice a year or before a major road trip. Sofar the filter has been clean.

When Pete installed my Alta he told me 10,000 miles. I guess it could vary depending on if you drive in dusty conditions.

Do it with your oil changes. Makes it easier to remember to do it.
