Drivetrain Clicking noise with EBC Greens
I installed EBC Green Brake Pads about a week ago. They were fine for first few days but now I hear a clicking noise that sounds like its comming from the left front brake every time I hit the brakes. Just on initial pressure. ie: if driving slow.. tap the brakes 3 time and hear click, click, click. Took front pads out and they seem to be OK except maybe the pad rocks or rotates forward just a tad and hits the caliaper. Everything tight otherwise. Any thoughts? Could it be that the backing plate on the EBC is just a tad smaller than the OEM pads?
I have a similiar sound coming from mine, but only when cold and it doesn't go away when I apply the brakes. I thought I was nearing the wear indicators on the pads and was due for service so I had them look at it. Turns out the noise was actually coming from the power steering pump! So far it hasn't returned.
But, if you are sure it's the brakes, how do the rotors look? and this only happens with the left side, not the right? I would check the right side, or possibly the rears, and make sure everything looks like it should.

I checked both sides and rotors look good. several who have driven all think click is coming from left front but, today almost sounded like coming from center front. Sure has me stumped. Any ideas appreciated & I'll keep you informed.
