I was checking out Hamann, the maker of extreme performance parts/wheels/body kits for BMW, and they have a sweet line of stuff for the Mini.

Has anyone had any experience with the Hamann stuff? How's the availability here in the States? Too expensive?

Thanks!

I have the Hamman wheels and they have been great for about 16,000 miles so far. if you go to the sponsor page on my site and select wheelpower it will bring you to their site. They are a very large distributor for Hamman,Page TitleMaxmini web site

all I know from looking through the hamann things online, is that they are real expensive. Of course, everything is. Guess I'm just happy with the things I have, and I'm not willing to shell out $800 for a frikin GAS CAP.

Hey MaxMini, What is that guage to the left of your steering wheel right below it? The digital readout with dial thing?

Also, those pedals are pretty sweet...

You have to admit, though - that is one hell of a cool looking $800 gas cap!

The little controler you are referring to is part of the Dension 40 gig mp3 player system. I have the hard drive located in a docking station under the drivers seat and I can pull it out and plug it into my home pc to download up to 1000 hrs of mp3's.Beats the hell out of juggling cd's . It is well worth the 800 for the complete kit in my opinion. It is even less expensive if you have a head unit that has a aux input. It was 600 to hook up with my Eclipse dvd player as it has an aux input.Page Titlemaxmini web site

That mp3 player is awesome. Wow, I'm going to have to look into that. Will it work with the stock sound system?
