OK my car was fine till about 2 days ago.. now when I drive it there is a very bad vibration which i feel through my feet, barely anything via the steering wheel.. this vibration is really bad under acceleration and it doesn't matter what speed i am at.. I have done nothing to the car except maybe takes so high speed corners.. Any thoughts? maybe engine mount?

If i am in gear and i slowly accelerate.. no vibration but when i giver some gas then I can feel it again..

I didnt hit any curbs, pot holes.. nothing.. sucks man.

Dont think so because its only under acceleration and only felt through my feet and foot pedals.. maybe engine mount or drive shaft :(

 

Can you see if you lost a wheel balancing weight?

 

I usually feel vibration through my feet when im driving and the AC is maxed out.

Are you talking about your car's stereo?

 

As 2007 it should still be under warranty take it back to the dealer something is wrong.

 

If only under accel, then it is drivetrain related. If just cruising, then it's brake/wheel/tire related.

 

OK UPDATE: Drive Shaft is shot because it is lowered.. it finally gave way.. Mini said no warranty because its due to the fact that I lowered the car.

Can't even drive the car right now..

 

That makes me sad reading that....hope you get everything sorted, how much did you lower it by with the coilovers?

Drive shafts have been replaced .. car is great! better than before... lol

I also raised the car up 1 inch (
