After driving with the re-installed stock air box for the last week, which is designed not to be bolted on, I am wondering why I even purchased a cold air intake. The car runs better with the stock intake, the part will last and not break, and I can hear the exhaust and P0420 CEL chime better. Jan at RMW was correct: cold air intakes do not really do anything but empty your bank account.
