Just how hard is it to install a pulley yourself if you haven't worked on too many cars in the past. As of right now, I've installed an intake, rear sway bar and I have a basic understanding of how cars work. I'm not afraid to take things off my car as long as I can put them back on and the car still works the same. I want to hear from people who have installed pulleys on their cars. Also, I know how most of these companies have WEAK directions that are not well written and make it very hard to install a part if you have no clue what you're doing. Are the directions to pulleys just as ambiguous? Also... does a pulley totally void the entire warranty?

How you looked over the "How To's" at the top of this page? Randy shows two ways to do it.

All, I just got the Madness pulley and puller kit for ~$250. The only thing I was waiting on was a puller. No one could spare one for a weekend because they are all so busy installing these things!

NOW I KNOW WHY! Damn finally some grunt at low RPM and my MCS HUSTLES! I will tell everyone that it took two guys <2 hours doign this mod and we doublechecked EVERYTHING! The only scarry part was when jacking my coil trigger wire got REAL CLOSE to the coolant resevoir. Still very easy mod, and with the included puller and alignment tool this is a no brainer.

The kit comes with a HOWTO on CD. This has good quality pix with good directions. If you are waiting to do the pulley, don't it's too sweet.

The warrenty? Well I have one of the MCS with no issues, other than the damn coolant tank! I can't believe that it would interfere unless it's SC realted. But with proper gas and oil I can't see it harming anything.

I recommend getting it done by a pro. If you are out east go to Helix, if you are on the west coast, go see Randy. They've done a bunch and know the pitfalls.
