Resinator to quite down a Borla Sport?

I'm looking to do mods to the OE header (port match and remove pre-cat and restriction), i know i should do a header but cost is too much for me now and i think ill get 9/10th of the way there.

I will proably get a header later in life, but thats neither her nor there.

With my borla sport (race - the loud one) i like the current sound except the drone at 3k on the highway, but with the pre-cat removed i think it will be way too loud.

Can anyone recommend either a replacement or additional resonator /muffler that will bring the volume down to what it is now or maby a bit quiter on the highway with the header mod?

Thanks,
Jonathan

A 6 inch diameter round Magnaflow, replacing the Borla resonator, should do the job. I have a 5 inch OD Magnaflow with a one ball and pre-cat delete OE header, very pleasant.

I fix the 3,000 rpm drone with my borla sport by keeping the revs between 3200 and 4000 on the highway.
