M7 DFIC

Hey guys just wanted to see what people thought of the M7 DFIC. i just picked one up for $150.00 wife got it for my b-day as a surprise....i mean any difference/no difference?

You're gonna have to do a search for the answer to this one. And set aside a day or two to get all sides of the issue. Best discussions come from when it was released, maybe 2 years ago. I recall getting one at Minis in the Mountains and it had been out about a month. Mine is number 23 made.

Tommy, I use it in my race car with very good results.
I will say though that I have a pretty modified air flow through it.

Well i seen the add that the wife found, and it looks like he had a Alta DFIC for $125.00. I think it was purchased.

Forgot to tell you, your wife must be an awesome lady, buying you parts and stuff for your car, thats so cool My wife finally has found stuff I wont return for gifts and presents......gift certificates at "Custom Mini Shop" Thing is, I will be buying her the same thing now that she has her own 09 Mini on the ship heading towards us as we speak

I have the DFIC2, and while on ABF's Mustang dyno, they pointed-out how low the IAT's were, and consistent as well. This allowed for quite a few back-to-back pulls with no long waits in between...
