Drivetrain Mynes Headers Throwing Codes, Say It Ain't So
What's the big surprise with a new product having a few hiccups fresh out of or basically still in development???
If you're going to be getting into serious modding then I think you really ought to expect to throw a code once in a while, esp if you're in the first few customers. This isn't really news as much as everyone is making it out to be.

Something was mentioned in the other header thread about using unknowing customers as "beta testers". I think this is going to happen with any product to some degree. The more you have out in the spotlight, the more potential there is for failure.
To tout a product as "code free" then have one of the first run fail? ...maybe just a bit more testing on the vendors part could have been done?
Just my opinion

You're giving the people on this Forum way to much credit. In order for people to have a thought that long it would require them to get past Jan being GOD and we all know that isn't going to happen. If it didn't come from Jan's mouth it can't be true.
If the people buying the product are happy isn't that all that really matters? If you don't want to throw codes stick with the stock header. Or don't buy the mynes header and go speak with your money elsewhere.
Where did you find that? And don't link me right back there
It is when the manufacturer touts in their marketing that its a CODE FREE product...

i'm just saying.
Now if we can just get the children to stop bickering on here we might all actually learn something about both style of engines. It seems that the HP numbers are pretty close too with both styles.
I would still like to see a head to head showdown of both types. I think it would make for a fun race day event
I think both shops have a rep for a reason. there obviously very good at what they do. And what makes it even neater to me is that one specializes in Superchargers and the other Turbo.

I've already proven you can make turbo numbers and STILL have power and tq down low without lag................ who needs turbos?
Ive heard of a set up where both SC and Turbos are used. I heard it's got a lot of power but havent seen any out there. I would think "in theory" it would be great for the SC to help spool up the turbo quicker.
Power is nice if you finish the race with it. You are talking about a car that runs 10secs vs one built to run 3hrs or more
I really don't see people lining up to buy Mini drag cars
