MCS COSWORTH or ARP

now that i got a performance head, which studs you guys think or know are better... arp or cosworth? majority count wins unless i find someone who really knows and tells me whats up.. thanks

The Cosworth studs have a higher tensile strength rating of 260,000 psi as apposed to ARP for the MINI of 200,000 psi. I don’t know if that matters given the limits of cylinder pressures on our engines. Cosworth stud kits (PR7422) cost on average $70 more than ARP kits (201-4301); both brand’s studs can tolerate re-torque multiple times, so “better” is a relative term in this case including any esoteric value you may attach.

What ever the OE spec calls for.... special gaskets may require different specs - that requirment is always included.
