Cheers again

Without one fitted you sure do get alot of oily crap inside all the pipes. More importantly i didnt want my intercooler being coated in a layer of oil which reduces its capabilities to cool air a little. Plus they do look nice fitted

In this position, how do you ensure something like that? Wouldn't it be much preferable to use a BOV from an Audi S3 which is very easy to be placed in the original position?
Thanks!!!
1) Im not quite sure what adaptor you mean ?

2) I have an HKS bov fitted to an Exhaust depot made pipe. Fitted just before the throttle body so when the throttle is slammed shut the excess pressure between the compressor wheel and the closed throttle body is released allowing turbo to keep spinning.

The original BOV has a cable attached on it. This is what I mean as an "adaptor".

He's semi-tuned from what I recall....

He's in Europe and has had a tune on his car for quite some time. Just needs to be retuned for the 28rs now from what I remember

hey just installed the atp kit -not a drop in. anyway i posted this somewhere else, but how did you control boost before the electronic one. the kit drops boost and i can only produce 8 psi. Runs like crap though it sounds nice. I changed a few things as to where the intake sits.

Nice setup. My car ran the same at first without any boost controller, and now with the electronic one i havent tried upping the boost so i set it to about 11/12 psi and will leave that to my trustworthy tuner come custom remap. I also set the gain so i get better response from the turbo and im quite amazed at how well the car goes for 10 psi, needs a proper tune/setup and alot more boost though

What bov are you going to fit ? Are you planning on making a sealed box to surround your intake as that would be the perfect intake if you closed it off

Hate to be the one to say it, but didn't you give something like that any thought before you went ahead and threw the kit on?

redo the intake the mass air is way to close to the turbo you are getting a lot off false reading to the maf sensor i already tried that and getting a lot problems

No, because I know it may take time but it is the best way to get some big hp out of the r56. Its all for fun anyway otherwise why do it. I don't have a bov yet and was not going to close off the intake because it looks cool this way and should not be any more open than if it was in the back. I am working on a tuner but they are so busy this time of year.

And the cost, $150,000 Well it wont be a cheap one If i can get my car like the GTT350 in the UK (formerly a supercharged vehicle) then that would be brilliant.

Heres a vid of my car running 12 psi : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jYX4g3RxBk

Just got finished installing a hose connector (main body and take off) to allow for a proper, new boost source for my boost solenoid/actuator :

Car is running even better than before especially in the high revs. I will get a good video up by tomorrow as its just started raining quite heavily here but ive finally run out of things to do except get my remap
