Drivetrain Hi Lift Cam??

I did a search for this, and only came up with one hit, for Schreck (sp?) cams. and i got the impression that it was maimly relating to a Cooper S.
Do we have any thoughts on the benefits / gains / problems with a high lift cam (r.g. Piper) on a Cooper, with induction kit and cat back zorst?
