ECU problem? P1689...

Hello! I'm sorry if i posted in a wrong section...
I'm guite desperate... I've installed a 19% smaller pulley and after my first ecu reprograming this error showed up!
P1689: Electronic Throttle Control Monitor Level 2/3 Torque Calculation Error

I've tried another ECU modification... didn't do any good!
I've installed a unichip at la local tunner, he "lied" the map sensor and for a short period of time ( 2 weeks ) the error didn't apper!
Now the error camed back... Nobody has an answer to this, not even the bmw dealer...

Please help!
Sorry for my bad english...

Best regards!

Thats a pretty good one. I know Uni-Chip had some issues. mabe search for uni-chip and see what pops up?
What do you mean by ECU modification? a tune?
Possible that the "local tuner" isnt very good?

Im not saying anything negative, im just giving ideas, more information is required as to your setup and whats been done

Sometimes when a tuner adjust anything with throttle maps, and adjust too aggressive, this error would pop up. The Siemens software have some hefty subroutines for throttle and torque calculations. When it sets those bitfields in RAM and do a compare function, stuff gets crazy. Ask your tuner if he or she adjust anything with throttle opening?

Thats the problem!!! They didn't adjust the throttle opening...
The first tunner, tune only the spark-time and gas-time maps in ECU!
The unichip was put to "lie" the map sensor and to give the stock information to the throttle-body... That worked for a short period of time.

Both tunners are doing this for the first time... So they don't have experience with MCS!
In full-throttle the car responde very good. This error appers only in partial acceleration!

Thanks for your answers!

Today i've put the original software on the ECU and I kept the unichip in the same setings!
The lambda meter ( air to fuel ratio ) showed 14.6 - 14.7 on partial acceleration and 12.1 in full throttle!
Until now the error didn't apper!

What do you think about replacing the map sensor with one that read higher presure?

12.1 at partial throttle might be a little lean. Thats how I blow mine up.

Think he means full throttle a little lean.

12 is ok but depends how you manage the additional heat. 11.5 is much much cooler
