Supercharger intake tube... help!!!

Aaaaaargh.

Installed a DT BPV tonight, pretty sure I broke the supercharger tube. Car revs wildly on startup and then idles obscenely rough.

Is there anyway to fix it, even temporarily, to make the car drivable until I can get my hands on a new tube on Monday, or am I screwed?

Put it into service mode. Get duct, fore and aft gaskets, then you'll be good to go!

No temporary fix until I can get the duct though? Duct tape? Cable ties? Fruit cake?

You can try epoxy or something with duct tape on top but if the cheapo plactic duct is cracked it's best to replace it of course.

Also check the vacuum line that runs in to the top of duct. You may have disengaged it to cause a leak while installing your DT BPV. Small hands go a long way in there. Good luck!

Woo Hoo! Got it to work! It's rigged but it seems like it'll hold at least as tight as it did from the factory. I'm not too impressed with this bit of German engineering, what an incredibly weak little piece of plastic. Geez.

Most of the tab was still in tact, just the very end had broken off, so I drilled through the tab (not into the tube...) and rigged up a small cable tie to go through the hole and wrap around the bolt (which I backed out a bit more). Pulled it snug and when I bolted the throttle body back in place I could not budge the supercharger tube no matter how hard I tried. I'm going to let it ride for a while, if it holds I'm not going to replace it, that was noooooooooooo fun getting even my below-average sized hands down in there.
