Custom downpipe

Hello, so I went to a muffler shop today and got quoted for a custom 2.5" downpipe. They said 240 for everything and they would use my original cats. I was wonderin if I got this done would I be getting any extra horsepower with just the piping upgrade? or would I have to go catless to get more power?

Honestly, for optimum results, you would need to go catless or with a high-flow cat. Don't get me wrong though. Getting rid of that nasty bend at the turbo flange will help out, but for that price you might as well get the Ragazzon downpipe. It's stainless and bolts to your stock catback. The shop you went to will more than likely weld the downpipe to the stock exhaust.
Besides, I have yet to see a regular muffler shop making nice welds. Leave that to a performance shop if you go that route.

I see well I have the 3" alta catback. The shop told me they would basically cut where the cats are and weld on the piping. They also said that hey didn't knohow far the cat is to the manifold so they weren't too sure about it. They told me they had to take it apart first to see. I'm just lookingfor some opinions about tlmy situation. I could also wait for exhaustdepot to finish moving and make a new setup.

Has anyone been able to find a Ragazzon downpipe distributor in the U.S? The only one I found was Ultra Tuning from France I believe.

Yep. I was only able to find it on Ultra Tuning as well. Everything is in French or whichever language.

http://www.ultratuning.com/en/produc...r-group-n.html

you just click the red button that says add (depicted with a basket) and take it from there

OR

http://www.ragazzon.it/ - and click that sexy Union Jack for some English and check out their catalogue.

I ordered mine from Ultra Tuning in France and they were very cool and they speak English so drop them an email if you have any questions or dial the number!
