Resonator delete?

The other day i saw a vendor announcement for a resonator delete for the r56. Was i seeing something? i cant seem to find it now.

Also, if there is such a thing, has anyone tried this yet? I really dont mind the stock exhuast, just figure for ~$50, i could get a little deeper tone. Any input?

did you buy a pre-made delete pipe, or just have a performance shop fab one for you? If you dont mind me asking, how much did you pay, labor included?
also, did this give the exhuast any more gurble, or garble, or whatever that noise is called on the overrun?

I bought my replacement pipe from Minspeed thinking it would be less trouble to install it myself than going to a muffler shop. Well the inside diameter of the pipe was just a tad to large in diameter and the clamp would not tighten the pipe sufficiently to seal. I wound up at a muffler shop anyway to get it welded so I would suggest starting at a muffler shop for the whole job. The installation aside, I'm happy with the sound, it's a little louder than stock, has kind of a raspy bark to it and some say it sounds a bit like an Austin Healy 3000. I'm not sure it added any additional power but it may seem a little stronger due to the increase in exhaust note.

you can have the resonator cut out and have a straight pipe installed in it's place at any exhaust shop. I did it on my first gen with borla exhaust and it cost me $18. out the door.
To me, anything sounds better then the stock exhaust. Its just way to quiet. It needs to be woken up a bit.
