TSW v2 engine damper install...

...hey, i know tsw has a pdf with pix on this, (i've looked at - maybe it's just that the pix aren't that great), but for those of you - (and by those of you i mean the wknd warrior modder, not someone like danny from minicorsa who could do this in his sleep) - are the instructions sufficient or is there a better way? we don't seem to have a how-to thread on this. just wondering if i'll be able to save the $50 to my local import mechanic and do it myself following their pdf - thanks.

I just installed one of these over the weekend. The install was straightforward, and the instructions were fine. Once installed the product does it's job fine and looks good.

However, I had to grind down two of the three brackets to make it fit. The provided engine side damper bracket would not clear the horn from the SC to the intercooler. Same story for the replacement fuel breather valve bracket. I just touched them up with a little Testors model paint so they will not rust.

I did not have to grind them much < 1/8 " each, and as there are manufacturing tolerances for the car and the damper, yours might fit perfect with no fitment issues.

I installed mine as well, the only confusing part for me was trying to figure how the location of the bolt, washer, conical, and nut and what order they went in and what direction they faced, if that makes sense. All i needed to help was a nice color close up to make sure i had it right.
