Has anybody installed the Paramount Tuning box on a R56 yet? any reviews?
I am looking to buy it but would like some feedback from anyone that is using it.

I am interested in them as well. I got an email from them with price and dyno charts. It is a piggy-back module but they might have an obd2 solution in the next week. I was told by them that there is a large autoshow sort of like SEMA this week in the UK and they are hoping for something to be released then. Here is the email I recieved:

Wait for Alta as they are working on that same type of ECU via the OBDII. Said it should be out in a few months..

 

Or better yet....wait for RMW.

Hi there

We have had the Paramount unit fitted for 8-9 months now and are very happy with it......We had got used to the extra power but the mini went in for a service just before christmas so removed the unit just in case they spotted it......and YES there is a serious power drop when removed...!!

Recent addition of a full Miltek Exhaust and foam panel filter have also added to the extra performace...but there is no doubt the "tuning box" has the most effect.....

Im not sure what feedback you are after so post here and ill try to reply......

GTM-KEN - Are you in North America? any CEL's? Do you plan on taking it for a Dyno run?

 

Im in the UK....and no....no CEL lights....
As for dyno runs I doubt it as we are planning on selling the Mini soon...

I'm wondering if there is any big differences with the UK ECU's compaired to the North Amer. ECU's.. Anybody have any idea's?
