Update since we've had the OS Giken Clutch, flywheel and diff in the car near 1000 miles now. Still no chatter out of the clutch assembly. I can't express how nice that is not to have any chatter since the fidanza I swear you could hear the chatter with the car idling a block away. Clutch take up is aggressive but smooth, The diff is absolutely excellent as well so far, No chatter or noise. Other then spinning two tires instead of one in terms of street driving you'd never know anything was changed. So far very impressed. Can't wait to get it on a track when it's above 40 degrees and NOT raining. A+ combo!

Just got done with Homestead this weekend with the Giken Diff , clutch and flywheel. Gotta say amazing stuff. ZERO understeer on throttle. I've driven plenty of FWD cars with Diffs and I thought that was just the nature of a FWD car with a diff. This thing proved me wrong. I could get in the throttle as early as I wanted, No wheel spin, no understeer. Just amazing. Worth Every cent!
I should also mention we won!

Unfortunately I never had the car on this track in the past. I can tell you it's a vast improvement. But I don't have a before and after hard data. I will at sebring in june though.

We plan on testing the release bearing with our current setups at some point, but don't really want to pull the tranny again unless we have to... Hah! (suffice to say, we are no longer pursuing making our own release bearing)

They also have their LSD available (clutch-type, a la Cusco).

We'll have all the OS Giken bits up on the website in the next day or so...
any progress on interfacing with clutchmasters kit?

I need to replace the clutch in my R56 and I am think of replacing it with a OSGiken dual plate w/lightened flywheel. I live near orlando and need someone to install it. Who did the work on yours? Thanks!

You might call Ian Stewart, aka MaitlandImports. He is in Orlando and obviously knows the product well.

Now that you have had this setup in the car and on the track, any new impressions on the setup?

Absolutely love it so far. Put the Powerflex inserts in and it woke up the combo even more.

Which inserts did you put in? Control arm, engine upper/lower, trans or all them.

No, it won't work. You'll see in an upcoming GRM article on their mini it's a different design from the stock configuration. They took about 2000 photo's of the swap. Any part designed for the stock configuration (flywheel, throw out bearing, clutch disk, pressure plate) can not be used.
