Dont think ive heard of anyone getting 14.5 psi on a stock map..
Standard peak boost levels are 9/10 psi with an overboost of 12 psi
I have a march 07' build, and I hit 15.5psi all day long with a stock map. I believe Adam w/Alta said something about the early build r56's giving up additional boost when an exhaust is added. Later builds are a bit more stingy.

I didnt know we were bringing exhausts into the equation.. Ive watched my psi levels increase with certain choice mods but again ive never seen a 4 psi increase with just an exhaust (on the standard map).. And later minis being more stingy ? Again the book figures are the same for late 2006 cooper s's as they are for late 2008's (well here in europe atleast) and i cant see mini offering up 9-10psi of boost (peak hold) with an overboost of 12psi to some customers and 15 to others
Of course you can have 15+psi with loads of bolt ons and a standard map but my point was most definetly you dont get 15 psi off a standard map on a standard car..
Colder weather certainly helps. I have just realised the most incredibly obvious thing ever that my boost gauage doesnt centre at 0. It is about -0.75 (3/4 of the way between 0 an 1) when the engine is OFF. So I am adding 0.75psi to whatever boost I get.. The most I got the other night temperature was -1 celcius I spiked at 18.75psi and then held 18psi all the way to about 6000rpm, then it reduced to about 16/17.
