odd pulley problem

so when i got my car preowned last feb i noticed that it had a m7 16% pulley on it. so i was like sweet something i wont have to upgrade.

well here recently i put a boost gauge on my car and i was only hitting about 13 psi, thought that was a little low concidering i live 1200 above sea level. checked vacuum lines and IC boots, found nothing, belt looked fine too.

so then i changed out my bypass valve with a detroit tuned and was impressed with where the boost came in but still no psi boost difference

well i decided pulley maybe, i got a alta 17% pulley and put it on this weekend and holy cow, now i hit 18 psi +/- way different car and i looooove it all over again hehe. just thought that was odd and wanted to share

thanks
chris

Did you install a new belt with the new pulley?
