Too light and not enough cranking amps Im sure. I used to run the 11lb. Deka but it died on me...

I have the 11 pound Braille and it works great for trips, track days and twisties but I put back in the OEM battery for normal use as I don't think the capacity is enough for the normal weekly grind with maybe long periods where the battery is not being charged. My 2 pennies.

From what I has witnessed first hand is that once the 11lb'ers are drained they are like a miracle to revive. I ran mine for 5 months as a daily until I left my interior light on. I will be switching back to one pretty soon,,,

That's why I switch them out and I give the Braille a little charge in between uses. Even when a car is turned off there is electricity being drawn from the battery.

I haven't had my 11lb Braille for that long, but it is working just fine so far. My particular battery tested at well over 500A cranking, and it hasn't shown any problems starting the car in colder (but not freezing) weather.

I have also had this installed for 6+ months:

BR-B14115C, Desc: Braille Carbon Fiber Lightweight Battery

It works fine, even in daily use. However some caution is required:
- if you leave the car standing for over a week, better not leave the alarm system connected...
- forget about leaving your car with the emergency blinkers on when the engine is not running

Now that it is getting colder here in Central Europe, planning to swap the OEM back on for the winter.

So, it works in daily use, but not without some compromises.

Cheers,
Sam
