Clicking from Supercharger

I am getting a clicking sound from what seems to be the left side of the supercharger. A friend a I replaced the belt. We hand spun the supercharger pulley and heard some clicking. It still spun smooth and wasn't loose in anyway. Any ideas?

loosing the oil out of the supercharger causes clicking!
search here as others have had the same problem, leading to water pump failure.

At this point you will probably need to replace the whole supercharger and water pump. Before you go out and drop the money on though it might be worth pulling off the water pump to see what kind of condition the gears are in.

How many miles do you have?

Is this a clicking or more like a rattle? Does it make the noise with the AC off?

It could be the coupler http://www.pse.us/?gclid=CJ-snt2bhJcCFQxzHgodDXkUZg look here.

I haven't heard a clicking, a rattle yes but the piece I've seen make noise the most is the coupler.

If you were able to isolate the click ( which end of the blower )......... The pulley side is the coupler
