Milltek If i had patience back in early october i would have gone with the exhaust depot 3" turbo-back system but a milltek back section came up for sale harldy used and a good slash off the RRP and when just a week or so later futureal33 pointed me in the direction of the Ragazzon downpipe i was extremely happy

I drive the car only 7 miles and I can't speak of any gain because the car was "cold"...

The only change I can "feel" immediately is that the car has a very bad smell..... and a high sound....but I will test better and then I will write something more precious.

Sorry for my english!

Thats one of the downsides of a decat, the petrol fumes lol but its worth it really Just dont start it in an enclosed/confined space or if you do have a canary sitting close by

I noticed for the first week after fitting that the performance of the car was really good the warmer the car is. So if you do a 50 mile drive you will notice the hotter the car gets the better its performing..After a week you will notice the car has adapted to the new part and it will be giving you optimum power.

tbh initially after i got it fitted i only had 40mph roads around to give it a quick 4 mile test drive and i didnt notice too much difference as i couldnt unleash any power until i got onto propper roads and then i gave it some stick and it was brilliant.

Do you have a remap done on your car? If you dont then as soon as you get one there will be some serious power/torque gains!

Even though you only drove 7 miles was there any CELs?

Congrats on fitting the new part and i hope you enjoy it as much as i do. I look forward to your update after you get a good drive in your car!

After I feel this smell I thought that at the place of one CEL i will had a Cristmas tree with all the light on.. ..but....no CEL at all...and this is good!!!

The sound for me is too much louder but I'm not like the most people here on NAM....I don't think that too much sound is better...
One think I notice immediately by drive, is that by every speed change, it sounds like someone shots with a gun to me....every time....at low rpm will my car do that....but at higher the gun will trasform it in a bomb...

I haven't a remap and I will not do, while it comes out a good product that hasn't any issues.

This evening I will test my car better and i will do a video in the same place and with the same camera that I used with the stock exhaust. So we can hear the true change.

Tomorrow I will write my new feedback after a real good drive!!!!

Thats good to hear. Personally i like the noises! As soon as you have video up post the link as it will be good to hear the difference in yours from standard to ragazzon. I wish i made a video of my standard exhaust but it didnt sound to great so i didnt bother...

Every so often when im driving around town at low rpm/speeds i go from first gear into second and i get a lovely explosion

If your looking for reliable, tried and tested ecu remap then here in the UK there is a great tuner called P-Torque and it transforms the car massively! Due to you not being in the UK i think you would send him your ECU and then he remaps and sends back, although if you were in the UK you would get before and after dyno runs.

Cant wait for your videos!

Nice one mate! I just checked those videos out and they sound great. I love the noise your getting, quite similar to mine, i will have another video up tonight (in car video) just to show how it sounds when driving at various speeds.

As far as exhaust mods go its pretty quiet. Ive had plenty 100+Db exhausts on a few sporty cars and they gave me a headache after motorway driving etc and i barely hear the exhaust unless im flooring it. But i do admit its not perhaps for someone wanting power gains without added noise although personally i think it sounds lovely and with regards to the many exhausts ive bought before this ragazzon part puts the sound bang in the middle of 'not too loud, not too quiet' which is what i wanted on my car..

Still no CELs? You should consider getting a custom made resonator (a bigger one) fitted in place of your standard resonator as that will reduce some of the extra noise (if you dont like that sort of thing).

LOL you start laughing at 12 seconds in : http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=e-hSbQS1kKE

It sound very nice!!!

And you are extremly lucky to be without the cat and still have no cels because with my GGR 2.5 with 100 cel cat my cel lights is on some times.

But I really dont care!!

I take it its too much for you then? A mate of mine may be interested, il let him know.

PS K@rtman ive heard through a friend from another person with the ragazzon attached to the standard exhaust like you have and they said it was really loud.. I think yours may be louder than mine as my milltek back section is reducing the noise much better than the standard back section..

I made a little in car video of how it sounds on the go : http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=WVUTaIO_ISE

Unfortunately when i got home i realised that when the camera moved slightly the zoom buttom was pushed in and your left with nothing nice to look at Atleast the sound is still there though and i will get it changed eventually with a propper video. I put the windows down at 1:24 to see if there was much cabin sound difference recorded on the camera.

You cant hear it at all really when driving normally, Its only that loud at WOT.. I was literally booting the crap out my car I will get a vid of of normal driving tomorrow but at the end of that video for the last 15 seconds im cruising along at 45mph and you cant hear it And thats with both windows half down..

You have the remap right? Doesn't that explain why you have no CELs???

I think it should sound really nice.. Ive only heard the invidia on youtube and not in person and it sounds really good, much more throaty than the milltek..

A good friend of mine also has a catless turbo back exhaust system and has exact same remap as me and he gets a CEL now and then so it doesnt make any difference if you have a remap or not. The only parts i have on my car differing to his is exhaust parts i.e my ragazzon downpipe and milltek back so simply by process of elimination its something to do with the ragazzon. K@rtman just fitted his the other day to the standard back section and hasnt got any CELs and he doesnt have any remap!

Just thought I would add my feedback on here too although it is slightly different.
I have a custom made 3" downpipe with no cats also and a fully custom 3" exhaust from the downpipe back, with no resonators and only 1 muffer (back box) at the rear end of the car. The noise is very very very loud. At first it wasnt too bad, but now it has got so much that all of my dash is rattling, my drivers side window is rattling and any coins I have in the cup holders literally buzz and rattle around... it is terrible. I need to quieten it down so have bought a custom resonator which I hope to have installed soon, hopefully this will quieten it down, but unfortunately because my exhaust is 3inch, there isnt a lot of space under the car, and I could only fit a 4" resonator in... so i think realistically it wont quieten it down very much :( It is 22" long however so lets hope that although it is quite thin, its length will be more important in quietening it down...

Failing this I will be removing my full custom exhaust and buying a Ragazzon downpipe and mating this upto my stock exhaust... Having been de-cat I could now not go back to catted, as once you have felt the power gain the de-cat gives you it would be hard to go back to stock, although the added noise is a problem...

What I might do is fit the Ragazzon to the stock exhaust and then weld a second resonator in place which will hopefully make things even quieter...

Unfortunately my video camera doesnt pick up the noise well, but it can only be described as an incredibly deep bassy note which literally makes the windows shake. At WOT around 4000rpm, the note changes and becomes quite throaty and not as deep, at this point the noise isnt TOO BAD but it is still very very loud but because its not as deep it doesnt rattle the windows etc.. But anything under 4000rpm is horrible.... gives me headaches all the time :(
My dad calls it the jet engine, he said it is like being in the back of a cargo aeroplane which has no sound deadening etc!!

Futureal33-Having decat is amazing I couldnt go back to catted downpipe! I love the noise of my car, it does sound lovely but i love yours more!

Just to update i am still eating through the miles and still havent had any CELs! I made a little video to show start up as i heard that people with decats get the CEL pretty much from startup, so heres mine : http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=vqUFeCUCCig

You can tell from just watching my video compared to Coopmans how much louder mine is : http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=p4xSOAfwf4w
