I dont agree, DT your M7 AGSR is a true cold air intake, and I have a true cold air intake on my car. So they are out there.

I cut the nm intake pipe, and then put on the DDM air box. Ill get a picture or two tonight when i get back if I have time. Going to KY for the tune soon =p

It was either the ddm box or jcw box. but I didnt want to get a new strut bar so I went with the ddm box

The m7 is somewhat a hybrid CAI, its more of a Ram Air system as the air is directly rammed into the filter area via the air box. In other words, the air comes through the open scoop, down the air box that is basically connected to the hood scoop opening, and into the filter directly. The air doesn't come through and spread itself over the top the engine.

While it may be recieving cooler air than most "CAI" on the market, it still should be considered a ram air style intake.

Anything that isn't boxed in should not be considered cold air, IMO.

So you have a strut bar working with the DDM RIS? I called DDM and they said no strut bars fit with there system. What strut bar do you have?

I know all about the M7 AGSR, I was this close to buying one ><. But I decided the money wasn't worth the gains. I have already gone through 4 intakes on this beast. With all that money I could have bought so many other mods

Nice, but I am finally happy with my setup. The last thing I need now is to buy a fifth intake and a second strut bar. I will stick with mine, I think its lighter also (carbon fiber).

My next expenditure is going to Jan
