Another Pulley question

I have an 03 MCS with a casual 74,000 miles. I have an intake an plan on doing a pulley but would like to hear from those guys with the 19% reduction. What is the reliability factor and fuel economy like?Where do you find it starting to pull? I live in NJ and very rarely push the car more then 5 grand. I will never track the car it's more of a putt around town car for me. I am looking for some low end torque but don't want the car to jumpy. No need to go into the mumbo jumbo about performance and gas mileage =)
Thanks
Joe

Thanks for asking! The 19% might be a GREAT idea for you, but I would push you to a more reasonable 15% S/C and a 2-3% Crank Pulley to net a 17-18% reduction.

The 19% REALLY pushes the S/C to its thermal limits, as well as without a larger intercooler etc. you run the more than reasonable risk that you will get detonation and thus pull enough timing to loose the benefit of going from a 17% to 19% reduction.

Also, with any of these pulleys be sure that you budget for some air flow mods if you look to go over 15% reduction. The OEM intake and exhaust system start to be restrictions.

Hope that helps! Let me know if I can help in anyway further!
