I would suggest changing out the mount as soon as a good aftermarket mount is available. You want to change the mount before it leaks because it makes a big mess when it does leak.
Although I am waiting for a replacement for the leaky hydraulic damper, I just installed a VIP stabilizer bar and that thing is HAWT. It was a relatively simple install, despite having to drill holes in the shock tower (not as bad as I thought, actually) and it shows less vibration than the TSW look-alike I had previously.

Yep... I love mine... I suspect the OEM mount will live a lot longer with the degree of added support the VIP stabilizer adds... I have NO data to back this up.
Damn, Paul, that's some serious Blood Bling there!! I love the modified Alta diverter especially.
I notice you have the GTT bar, but not their Oil Cap. You need one...
We will be testing the "production" unit next week. Once it's got the green light I'll let you know and give you an ETA on shipping too.
We??
Unless you were disguised as the puppy then I didn't see you at the TSW World HQ Prototype Installation and Testing Centre during the install of the latest prototype/possible production version this afternoon.

nope I wasn't there, but I knew it was going to be installed and tested on your MINI for the track weekend. Good Luck and we look forward to seeing more info.
Once TSW gets the numbers together I'll start taking order for them.
Looked at the unit on MA. Nice simple design which appears to be able to easily handle the forces in the X direction that the the rod end and where it is located. The poly (think that is what it is made of) does the job in the Y direction of course. This just leaves me wondering what kind of considerations where made with regard to the torque forces it will experience, which was the same thing that interested me with the solid metal one...
I'm sure I had said it earlier here, but I'm in line for one of these units when they are proven to work.
As a side note, how are we to have any idea about long-term reliability? The stockers last for a short time, but obviously weren't tested for the normal long haul.

did you car look like this in Charlotte? I don't recall. It's stunning now with the red accents.
